Come for a Chat

Come for a Chat
You are invited to come and have a virtual cup of tea, a bottle of champagne, or a nice cosy, rich, smooth, hot chocolate, with me, in this snug little nook. If the table does not suit you, I have the most beautiful, intimate, friendly, and warm, lounge area on the other side of the room where you can relax, unwind, and chat in dulcet tones, and leave the troubles of the world behind. Yes "we are doing it tough at Uni", and this is a place you can come and be yourself, and be treated like you are the most important person on the planet, (which you are - no-one realises it yet). You may eat and drink anything to order, everything is made fresh to your specific taste, and you will be looked after so that you feel safe, and secure, in this place. The company will be relaxed and entertaining, and you will feel energised, happy, and will laugh many times, because you are having the most wonderful time. I look forward to your visit. Bye from Gema.

Powerpoint

Powerpoint is such a powerful tool. It has many more uses than I had realised.
Microsoft PowerPoint can be used to create interactive presentations containing text, art, animation, and audio and video. Quote by Linda Starr (2000) Education World elements.http://www.educationworld.com/a_tech/tech/tech013.shtml. How amazing that adding sound in powerpoint is also an option. This tool could be used in the classroom in a number of ways. It could be used by students on their projects. It could be used by the teacher as a quiz exercise. I was very impressed with Power Point after being shown the buttons which advance slides or go back to a previous slide if a wrong answer is chosen. It is amazing that all of these choices and buttons are available and very few people use them. I am overjoyed to have this new knowledge and can only hope to have more time to explore the possibilities for the future teaching/learning in a classroom.
