Come for a Chat

Come for a Chat
You are invited to come and have a virtual cup of tea, a bottle of champagne, or a nice cosy, rich, smooth, hot chocolate, with me, in this snug little nook. If the table does not suit you, I have the most beautiful, intimate, friendly, and warm, lounge area on the other side of the room where you can relax, unwind, and chat in dulcet tones, and leave the troubles of the world behind. Yes "we are doing it tough at Uni", and this is a place you can come and be yourself, and be treated like you are the most important person on the planet, (which you are - no-one realises it yet). You may eat and drink anything to order, everything is made fresh to your specific taste, and you will be looked after so that you feel safe, and secure, in this place. The company will be relaxed and entertaining, and you will feel energised, happy, and will laugh many times, because you are having the most wonderful time. I look forward to your visit. Bye from Gema.

Podcasting

Podcasting is being able to view/listen to broadcasts and also to make ones own broadcasts either with audio or video (more recently).
Strengths: What a great way to engage children. Preppies who are not able to write could make their own podcasts. The visually impaired could make a podcast instead of being required to write.
Weaknesses: Need to know the computer technology and need to be subscribed to yet another site.
Opportunities: Students could have a go at publishing their own radio show. They could also use a podcast to connect with the rest of the world.
